Kim Simmons is a Worldwide Professional Musician and Entertainer originally from Kent but now living in Nottingham.
Kim has always been in and around the music business, after following in his fathers footsteps and working extensively in numerous bands and with his brothers. Kim studied the trumpet and piano from a very early age. He soon mastered these instruments and is one of the UK masters of the keytar synth. Over the years he has honed his craft to perfection leading to appearances at ‘The London Palladium’ and numerous television shows including ‘Nationwide’ and many years ago ‘Opportunity Knocks’.
As a multi instrumentalist and professional singer, Kim has toured the world with his one man show. Shows including work for ‘Caribbean Cruise Liners’, Holiday Resorts and HM Forces worldwide as well as many Weddings, Corporate and Cocktail/Dinner Music Events.
Kim’s repertoire is vast and covers all genres of music, ranging from his personal favourite Swing, Jazz and Blues right through to the trendy chart hits and popular music of today, all done in his own inimitable style. Performances also include a full light show and a full disco can also be included to complement and finish off your evenings entertainment.
Away from performing, Kim is also a highly respected Nottingham music teacher who gives piano, trumpet and keytar synth lessons to those wanting to learn how to play.
Music lessons offered by Kim are all taught from his studio which is close to the city centre of Nottingham. Kim teaches all ages and abilities from complete beginner to seasoned professionals looking to improve their playing.
